but not for the north bay.her that we're going to be looking at consistently over the next few days here. what we have up here in the north bay, all that green, these are flood watches in effect for marin, sonoma napa, as well as county stretching all the way north to the oregon border. the situation here is quite interesting. it's an atmospheric river, but it is an atmospheric river that is stalled out. and that means that heavy moisture plume stays in one spot and that is the issue here for spots like santa rosa over the next days as we will continue to see the bull's eye of this atmosphrric river just centered up right there on the northern tier of the bay area. so far today we've hardly seen a sprinkle it all south of the golden gate. where is north of there? it's been solid shower activity thus far. some of our heaviest of rainfall is currently falling from point rays right there along 101 between novato in santa rosa. so if you are driving 101 this morning, do know that it is already wet. the concern real

stays consistent across the north coast, the next several days tomorrow, widespread rain up north by thursday. a lot of the bay area's actually gonna get a breather from the rain as the rs a little bit further northward. north bay, though, you don't catch that break on thursday, friday, atmospheric river descends further southward. and that does mean that more of the bay area will start to see heavier rainfall towards friday. all this does add up. and by friday, the north bay santa rosa seeing over 7 inches of rain. well, san jose just a 10th of an inch of rain. so you can see how vastly different it is from north to south. that's why north bay, this is where flooding concerns are. the weekend will start to see heavier rain further south and that will eventually add up san jose and fremont. you'll eventually get to an inch of rainfall. santa rosa closer to 10 inches of it. rural areas, upper elevations near the coast in sonoma and mendocino counties could exceed 15 inches of rainfall. now we will be seeing 2 feet of snowfall piling up on mount shasta tomorrow alone. that adds up to s
