in time for the weekend. 41 west hampton. 40 around brookhaven and 43 smith town and babylon. 40 around newark and north here above the merrick parkway. 48 to monticello. so some normal numbers but chill little numbers this morning hundred -- chilly numbers this morning and then you tack on the wind. look at the wind at laguardia. 14 jfk. out around montauk 10-mile an hour winds. 21 gusts from the park to white plains and you can see that some of the gusts around 22 miles an hour from montauk and down the jersey shore. we have clear skies and a northeast wind nice bubble of high pressure here in the northeast. to the west is this storm system, it's a big low creating the snow and that tornadic activity you saw that tornado on the ground in kansas. this will all push eastward and gets to us on thursday. but tornadic activity. what we're looking at today is this bubble of high making it cool here in the northeast but eventually you'll see big warmth starts to return tomorrow into the upper 50s and ahead of this front we'll see the temperatures into the 60s by thursday. our futurecast shows sunshine today.
