we do still see some of those upper 80s and low 90s for parts of the north bay as well as the east bay. the south bay will reach into the mid-80s today in morgan hill with downtown san jose only up to 81 degrees. so we'll feel nice there but not so nice will be the high winds that will continue to gust today. and for all of these areas shaded in red, this includes our elevations above 1,000 feet, this is where our winds will gust possibly over 50 miles per hour today. we have that along with some hot temperatures and low humidity below about 10% to 20%, so that's going to give us a high fire danger for today as we look at our wind speed forecast. we are seeing those winds as we head toward 4:00 to 5:00, anywhere from 30 to 40 miles per hour and then even higher as you go up in elevation. so with that we are still going to have the high fire danger for today but then the winds start to calm down for tonight. after that we're in for some nice weather for the rest of the week. we are going to see our temperatures inland cooling off. only mid-70s by thursday, but then it will start to warm

in the east bay in portions of the valleys up in the north bay to and will be hot temperatures later on for today, 64 antioch 63 conquered 60 livermore got the lower to middle 60's approaching and the east bay shoreline was still cooler 50's up here in the north bay 63 san jose peninsula 60's and 70's or work here. so for the humidity that's the interesting thing to look at for this afternoon. they drop offering noticeably so this is after the red flag is gone away you see portions of napa county falling the single digits as well as solano county quite low in the east bay too over the east bay hills, particularly fairly dry. that's this afternoon. then we get into tonight. and tomorrow morning there's the recovery by tomorrow morning getting some green on the board here but typically this whole area will be green in the morning hours. so we're still banking awful bit of a dry atmosphere even by that point. then there's the drying pattern we have for the afternoon not quite as aggressive as we have today and there her comes back the marine layer spilling into the sacramento valley. so
