you can see the windiest areas, the north bay and along the coast. we're seeing winds at 38 miles per hour and half moon bay up and marine county there we see gusts hitting up to 50 miles per hour. actually in the higher elevations there as well as in santa rosa looking one of the windiest areas right now. if you take a look at the east bay. it's a little breezy. those winds are not as high. the wind speeds compared to the coast and the north bay. so this is later around 8.30. this winds do increase a little bit for the east bay and the south bay there. and then by the afternoon, you notice stronger gust move into the east bay their nap. and we're going to see gusts in the 40's close to 50 miles per hour. hayward close to 40 miles per hour. so it's going to be another windy day for us here in the bay area. but mostly sunny skies tomorrow, we could see similar conditions as well. and because of those winds, you can see it's really pushed away the fog. it's looking like it's a clear morning right now and a little chilly but stick around because all have

and of course, the higher elevations up here in the north bay. now the peninsula has always been out of it because it's insulated from the coast in the bay regards to the wind direction, you're getting some insulation there as well as the east bay shoreline and temperatures have been more modest. there today than we saw. well, inland going on. here's a look at the temperatures that i spoke of mid to upper 70's on the east bay shoreline inland almost about 90 popping. look at the peninsula by contrast 60's 70's san carlos about 89 and up in the north bay out. still the lower 90's as well. now the sides of the winds that we've been talking about the other issue has been the very dry air. we've got single digits for relative humidity levels. you can see how it kind of wraps around the east bay hills. and on the bay side, obviously not a severe. so tonight we're going to see the recovery sort of that's going to cover san francisco in the east bay shoreline but not due to well inland. it's going to get into the delta little bit and then tomorrow aftern

if you live in some of those places, especially in the north bay. the east bay. if you're up in elevation at all. you're probably going to feel those winds by early tomorrow morning. if you don't by about 10:00am or so. that's what we expect the strongest winds, the high fire danger and the los humid a t i mean, it's kind of the triple threat there as we head in toward tomorrow morning right. about 10 o'clock or so to 10 until what. what's the worst of it. 1010 until about noon tomorrow. but even in the afternoon because it's so dry out there, you're going to see these breezes continue. so if a fire starts in any area and it doesn't take that doesn't take much. but the worst conditions right now look to be located in the north and the east bay, ok. thank you, lawrence. now an update on yesterday's explosion at a senior care facility in walnut creek. the contra costa county fire department says this was triggered. >> by a nearby grass fire. it happened just before 4 o'clock yesterday along south main street smoke as you saw there could be seen for miles above 6.80

let's take a look at this red flag warning impacting the north bay mountains east bay hills, east bay, interior valleys and also solano county. so all those areas shaded in red are currently under that red flag warning through 6 o'clock tuesday night. let's take a look at current wind speeds out there right now. we're starting to notice the ship for the highest peaks in the north bay mountains now turning more into that northerly offshore wind flow with wind speeds north to south. that's why that arrow is pointed down, especially for those of us at la speak and fairfield and along the coast, though, still tracking that cool sea breeze influence. but look at how the winds increase, especially for those of you in the inland valley, solano county and the highest peaks for those of you in the north bay at was p calistoga vacaville, even fairfield seeing wind gusts 50 miles per hour or less. and that is going to peak midmorning on monday. slightly calmer conditions by monday afternoon. but we're tracking low 90's now to start your workweek forecast for most of our inland valleys in the nor
