the cities and other densely populated parts of the bay area, so let's watch this as we go through tonight and into early tomorrow morning. still the higher terrain, north bay mountains and east bay hills including the diablo range, those of the trouble spots where that fire danger index is going to be close to the top of the scale and even in and around some of the communities, up around seven, eight, nine, which is way too close for comfort to being in that neighborhood of where the scale just maxes out. tomorrow morning, still elevated fire threat for the inland, north bay and east bay as well but conditions are gradually going to improve as we had to the day tomorrow. it is not drop all the way to zero, it really does when the fire fuels are so dry this time of year. but the wind will relax, they will start to shift to the onshore direction and that will start to help us out by tomorrow afternoon, even as the humidity will still be really low. right now, temperatures are actually pretty pleasant, mostly in the 60s, 70 degrees in santa rosa, we will cool off dramatically as we head into the rest of tonight, especially in the north bay, down into the upper 30s around santa
