wind advisories, the inner portions of the north bay hills, and the diablo range as those wind speedsk up after midnight sunday, during the day into monday, and then tuesday, the wind speeds come down. but here is the issue again. in southern california, stronger wind speeds dry, gusty offshore wind. again as we head into monday and tuesday, especially for western l.a. county and ventura county. the reason why red flag warnings are hoisted again for the mountain areas all around la out to ventura county. this is going to be monday and tuesday. so long range. we're looking if there's any improvement in the overall weather pattern, at least to start the week. that's not the case with the gusty winds and high pressure keeping storms at bay. but by thursday, this high may recenter a little bit farther to the west, allowing this area of low pressure to drop in one that is likely not to bring a lot of rain around the bay area. but there's a hope here. we might begin to see more rain work its way into southern california as we head into next weekend, along with a chance of seeing snow return

it is going to be windy in our hills, particularly the north bay hills tomorrow morning. out the door. make sure you bundle up because we're going to see those temperatures dropping down to the upper 20s to mid 40s. a chill in the air. there will be some cloud cover around along with some fog tomorrow afternoon. it is going to be a cool day with some spotty showers and certainly windy in the hills. looking at 50s for your highs. so those 60s that we had today, they're going to be gone tomorrow. isolated showers show up in the morning and then for the afternoon, just a couple of pop up showers going into the evening hours. and that continues into sunday morning. so this is not going to be a widespread rain event. spotty showers at best. and we may even see some snow showers over mount hamilton early sunday morning before this system is done. rainfall projections anywhere from nothing measurable to a few hundredths of an inch. here's a look at the sierra winter weather advisory for the weekend. 4 to 6in above 5000ft. you could even see a dusting down to 3000, but the passes

it's for the area in blue, representing the north bay hills and part of the east bay hills above 1000ft for sure. wind gusts again could go up to 3040 miles an hour, maybe more. we're always worried about fire, but we're not freaking out because we do have increased fuel. moistures. it's been pretty cool. frost advisories again tomorrow morning. that would be the second day in a row as well. we're going to see, i think, frost advisories the next few mornings or some kind of a frost or freeze type thing. i think the wind advisories will generally go away. the outside right now looks pretty awesome. we've got plenty of sunshine. today's temperatures were noticeably warmer. temperatures today went up. they went up a lot. they went up like 15 degrees in some places instead of in the 50s. we were in the low 60s. so i'm clicking through these because i got behind a little bit. but those are the forecast overnight lows. these are the forecast highs. that's what i wanted to get to for tomorrow. so warmer right. yesterday it was 50s low 50s almost like sonoma was 50 degrees for a daytime high. a

wind advisory even issued for our north bay hills, but that was canceled earlier today as the winds began to fall below the advisory level. that low is now parked off southern california and continuing to bring the gusty conditions to that area. and as we've been speaking about now, the red flag warning for them as well, not for us. for us, we'll go with partly cloudy, mostly clear into the overnight hours. and again, a chilly start expected for tomorrow. the winds have calmed down considerably. we're looking at just a light breeze over the north bay, central bay and towards the peninsula, as well as the south bay. palo alto, you are calm at the moment. mountain view reporting a five miles per hour. the futurecast here, continuing with the dry, clear conditions into tomorrow mornin. and the frost advisory begins 1:00 this morning or tomorrow morning, i should say, and will continue until 9 a.m. for all of our inland areas north bay, east bay, santa clara valley, as well as the santa cruz mountains does not include the coastline, nor our bayside communities, nor san francisco. temperatures
