for the north bay mountains we talk about that 10 minutes ago. we will look at the pattern what is happening overnight. not as breezy. the upper levels of the atmosphere rearranging itself. hotter weather heading our way. the trend will be noticeable on thursday. the fire weather watch goes into effect tomorrow. talk about that a few minutes ago because we will be watching for lower humidito its way in asfire danger index - 10. it is far from off the charts, we are looking at the highest values around 5. that is localized here in northern sonoma county. it is really borderline set up in terms of the humidity values and the wind speeds we expect in the north bay mountains over the next couple of days, something that we will certainly watch as we look at the temperatures on thursday. not resulting in significant increase in the fire danger index but the fact that we have to keep an eye on it that is why it is a watch and not a red flag warning, we will keep you updated. short term, nice outside. i love this view of the city. temperature stands at 5

north bay due to dusty dangerous fire conditions. good afternoon. i am len kiese. a red flag warning is in effect for east bay hills and valleys and north bay mountains. pge says that's forcing them to become public safety power shut offs in napa and solano. justin andrews is live in napa. people have been getting ready for this all morning. >> reporter: they have. things are still okay right here. people still have power but we know that's not the case for other parts of the bay including in solano county. take a look at the outage map we have been looking at. in the last 15 minutes we have noticed more shut offs in vacaville and fairfield areas. you should see those in pink on your screen. it's thanks to dry, gusty conditions that could bring heightened fire risks. pge says shut off prevented fire lines from igniting fires. more than 2,000 customers were notified of the possible shut downs over the weekend. we talked to richard kennedy and he is one of them that got the notification. he lives in napa. take a listen to how he says he is sort of preparing. >> it's difficult. usually we wouldn't mind it. but my wife is 82 and she's very sick. when it g
