mountains. this is all happening happening 400 myers north of the the bay area but the atmosphere can be an amazing mode of transportation. >> this is so far north that you you wonder if it's really coming coming here. here's a good way to see how. if you just take a look at the high-resolution visualization, look for the red streaks coming off of southern oregon, northern california. this shows you where the accumulation is of smoke in the upper levels of the atmosphere. here's the important reason why we look at this at basically the the upper levels and the lower levels of which is what we would would care about the most. that smoke is getting pulled off the coast and drawn out where it's sitting seemingly harmlessly out out over the ocean, that if we look at this at the lower levels, watch what happens as we we play that forward, the smoke down near us does start to get pulled on sure and we will experience settle increases here here in reduced air quality. it's moderate at worst at this point from taking a look at the air quality sensors. that is the the scene this afternoon from the top of th

bay area, mainly in the north in the east bay. at this time. the fog begin to move in along the coastline. a number of strike specially over the santa cruz mountainsrain in davenport because of those storms bringing the showers there as well. right now, the fog has moved back on shore along the coastline up above. we saw the monsoon to deal with that is now moving int parts of the north bay. some scattered showers being picked up by the doppler right now, but not much. but so you have some pockets of rain showing up outside the possibility some thunderstorms rolling on through at least through the evening hours. and then things should begin to settle down most. that moisture continues to track further to the north. the sierra nevada, also seeing plenty of the rain and the showers and thunderstorms popping up there to more than on the way to continue to roll in a northerly direction. kind of wrapping around the big dome of high pressure that we've been talking about over the 4 corner states, that ridge will start to recede. that is going to pull that moisture back with it in a place like nevada and arizona. still a couple of pop ups over this year
