north bay hills could see anywhere from wind gusts from 40 to 60 mph. the wind advisory is for our east bay hills and lower elevations does include the coastline includes our north bay valley locations and closed includes our east valley locations. and if we get back to the winds here for just a moment, you can see half moon bay with a wind gust to 23 mph san jose reporting. a wind gust of 30 mph you get into the hills even stronger than that middle peak reporting 44 mph middle peak in the north bay reporting 22 mph and our relative humidity is dropping off down into the teens already at this hour over areas of santa rosa reporting, 16 and 17. so we're going to be dry. we're going to be breezy. we're going to remain without the rain, at least for the coming week. and then as we get into a thursday, those winds finally begin to relax. but still no sign of rain. that storm track will remain to the north of us temperatures in and around the bay area right now. 56 degrees right now in san francisco. we have upper fifties and conquered 59 in napa getting into the afternoon. for today. temperatures are right about average 62 in santa rosa 61 in oakland and 60 degrees over san jo

friday for the north bay and east bay hills and valleys. that's because of the cold morning lows. frost and freezing conditions as we look to the next several mornings. here is a live look as we look north. it's shaking in the wind. temperatures in the 30s and 40s. it's a chilly start. 12 at half moon bay. 17 miles out of the west in oakland and 12 in concord. there we go with that cold weather system. the pacific northwest storm sending showers our way and that colder arias well. you can see the temperatures really only in the low to mid- 50s. it's a chilly day. you will need the coat all day long with the highs below average. i want to time out the showers as weththe day. here we are at 8:00 a.m. 9:00 a.m. and then by 4:00 p.m. again as we look to late morning and into the afternoon. there is a chance to see isolated thunderstorms. small hail with those showers. here we are at 6:00 p.m. everything winds down by tonight and by tomorrow. just going to be a really cold start to the day. that's why the freeze warnings will be in effect. as we look to up in the sierra winter weather a

highs during the afternoon tomorrow, now mostly 70s around the santa clara valley, the tri-valley and north bay. check out santa rosa up to 78 degrees. downslope warming due to those offshore breezes will likely mean the north bay valleys will warm up the most tomorrow. and for the hills above 2,000 feet, dry and breezy conditions at times. wind speeds not expected to be too strong. we're probably not goto see much in the lower elevations but elevations above 2,000 feet, freezing conditions at times. in terms of clouds, that's the patchy fog and more hazy sunshine heading into the afternoon and more of this trend will continue as we move you forward through the week. notice the high pressure is keeping the rain off to the north and speaking of that ridge of high pressure, it's about to get even stronger. i think you're really going to notice the change wednesday through friday as we get towards thursday now, this is probably our best bet for breaking some records around the bay area. you only have to be mid to upper 70s this time of year to do that. by thursday, santa rosa could be close to 80

of those northerly winds certainly making its presence known already, especially for north bay and east bay valleys, even downtown san francisco see sustained winds at 60 miles per hour out there right now. and we are going to notice wind gusts in that 20 to 30 mile per hour range for most of our north bay and east bay valleys. even along the san francisco peninsula coastline. 36 mile per hour sustained winds shortly before midnight. but after midnight, winds are certainly going to how even for north bay valleys, as you can see, we could see gusts in that 30 to 40 miles per hour range. and that's what they're going to ramp up for our highest peaks in the north bay mountains and east bay hills, even through thursday morning. still going to see it. northerly winds in the north bay, but starting to shift out of the east for most of the east bay and san francisco peninsula with half moon bay going to notice the strongest breezes right along immediate coastline. but then calmer winds shortly after your noon lunch time hour on thursday. but let's take a look at our humidity level because we are going to
