most recently we're involved north california trying to increase water efficiency on the largest reservoirs there. out of this project which is a legislation project. i think there are lessons that might be relevant for what we're talking about here and i'd like to make three points. the first point pertains to issue of uncertainty. there are two issues there. characterizing uncertainty. that means uncertainty in our large scale models and down scaling, but also in demand, population growth, and other areas. the second issue with uncertainty is communication. i think that should not be underestimated because i think that will make for an effective public engagement and effective regulatory engagement in others. now, there is a need for improvement in our tools in this area and i wanted to bring that up in the sense that there is some research and further development that needs to be done in engaging the university communities and other research organizations. but i think we gain much out of such improvement. as a second point the development of pilot projects. as mentioned again, i want to

both have moved on into southern californ california, out towards southern nevada. we may see an isolated shower in the north for the afternoon, but today a much drier finish to the weekend with highs getting back into the 50s with this patchy frost and ice, though, a big issue in those north and east bay valleys through 9:00 this morning. tomorrow, another system dropping down the coast that will probably toss a few showers onto the north bay coastline. that system kind of paralleling the coast. you can see as you get into your monday morning commute, doesn't look like we'll see a whole lot of moisture out there. most of the action should stay offshore but we'll keep the chance of showers in the forecast there as we roll on into your monday morning. around the bay area today, high temperatures in the 50s around the bay area today, low to mid-50s. yesterday we had highs in the mid-40s for most of the bay area. in fact, san francisco yesterday only had a high of 44. that was a new record low. high temperature on saturday. so even 52 is looking pretty nice compared to that. seven-day forecast, though, does hav
