state lines earlier today i spoke with north dakota congressman kevin kramer about the impact of the president's executive order here's what i think it does for it's going to be it's going to be interesting to see our insurance companies respond to it what i think is that there's an opportunity for states. to be that place that provides the best product. for the country so it will be competitive again but the real winner here are the small businesses the groups that don't get big employer coverage to be able to group themselves together we passed a bill in the house that does exactly what the president's executive order does not allows is to allow so ca sions so it might be small market broadcasters it might be restaurant owners who can't come up with the type of a benefit for their employees that a big company can have but now they can go out of state get well what they can associate across state lines so what i think remains an open question is if you associate across state lines are can you then buy the insurance and in one state that applies to your whole association across state
