there has been pretty good rain from fort bragg north. monday night and tuesday. snow down to 3500 feet and a possibility of thunderstorms and hail for us tuesday afternoon. the wind machines are cranked up. if you think these lows are cold, wait until wednesday morning and thursday morning. 30s to the north. teens up in the mountains. to 20s. 29 tahoe. truckee is at 12. big changes tonight. that is when the winter storm kicks in. it's just point arena north. this system will slow down a little bit. once it arrives it will be very dynamic. we first get the front. pretty good jet stream coming into the back end of that. and there in lies the forecast for the possible thunderstorms. rainfall about a half an inch to an inch and a half. should cover it from top to bottom. sierra nevada there will be very good snowfall. over two feet. this is the best looking system they have had in a long, long time. if they can get the snow there and get enough dynamics and moisture there, we could get snow down to 3500 feet. again it will be tuesday morning. timing again there could
