all of this as police in north hampton county are trying to figure out how the 19-year-old freshman college student died. >> reporter: a source close to the case says easton police have started interviewing students from lafayette college. police know what caused the death of 19-year-old mccrae williams. he died from blunt force head trauma according to the coroner. however, police say it was a, quote, chain of events that led to the freshman's death. if anything criminal is emerging from the ongoing police investigation, they have not yet said. what nbc 10 has learned that williams was at an off-party campus on saturday. multiple sources say he left that party with a female and the woman went back to williams' dorm party with him. it's unclear how long the woman was with williams. sources say over the period of several hours, saturday night into sunday afternoon, williams remained in bed, and it was late on sunday when concern for the 19-year-old led some other students to seek medical help. an ambulance was called to his dorm on sunday, just after 4:00, and williams was taken to a hospita
