so, this happened at 9:30 this morning at palisades tahoe on the north western side of the lake. it office an expert run. the run is called kt-22. it just opened for the season today. one man died and just in the past hour the placer county sheriff confirmed the victim is 66-year-old kenith kidd that lived in truckee and marin county. two others injured caught up in the snow >> this happened during a winter storm that is only intensifying. the good news tonight, everyone has been accounted for. north reno was five. now there's seven. truckee in south lake tahoe are about two below. little hint of a breeze. not much, but enough that kind of keep things from being colder. fairfield concord, oakland. i know it's not much, but that that does it. so a lot of 30s, some 40s showing up here. livermore though, is down to 30. that is the coldest on this on this panel right here. most locations are hovering around 33 to 34, 35 degrees. a few clouds off the coast, some coming down from the north. so mostly sunny today. maybe some partly cloudy to the north. so system will come in on tuesday for some. light rain won't be much on tuesday. wednesday system looks to be of the same ilk as the one we had on saturday. so more snow for the mounds a little bit more rain for us. the key going forward is going to be late friday, more likely saturday if you can get the merging of a polar jet and a system from the west, it would be a cold front. it could produce some copious amounts of rain. the question is where does it set up? right now it looks to be about north of santa rosa, but ag

north. as you might imagine. i mean, there's plenty to go around. even sausalito is at 42 tiburon, 43 point race station at 33 zero. truckee, one below south lake tahoe. crescent city at a 41 in san diego and 40 in phenix. so there's some cold readings north to south, some light snow made it into scottsdale yesterday. north scottsdale higher clouds will continue to come down from the northwest, but mostly sunny or fair today. one of my least favorite words. my other one is showers, but occasionally they apply. and today is one of those days. some rain will make it on tuesday light, but then a stronger system comes in on wednesday and this will be another cold one. so good snow for the mountains. the key will be friday night into saturday. it looks like there will be a merging of a system from the west. from one to the north. look at crescent city. i mean it already starting to now. i've seen some projections that show more than that for us, but we'll just ease into it. take the middle of the road for now. mostly clear morning, cold for most. there is a little bit of a breeze. sun, then clouds cool to nice. so a lot of high clouds coming in 50 on the
