following breaking news out of north philadelphia. where two women were ambushed and shot to death while sitting in a pickup truck. matt delucia is live at headquarters with breaking details. >> reporter: at this point, there have been no arrests in this case. family members showed up to the scene quite distraught. trying to see their victims there, but some of them tried to cross the police tape to get to those victims. still in the running pickup truck. take a look at video here from little bit earlier this morning. happened just after midnight on the 3500 block of north lauren street in north philadelphia. officers found two gunshot victims. both women in the front of a pickup truck. the victims are 28 and 19 years old. the truck was running and parked along side a curb. police tell us both women were shot several times in the head, neck, torso. pronounced dead at the scene. witnesses say that the shooter or shooters, could be more than bun here, were in a vehicle at the time. police think this very well could be a drive by. police

philadelphia north, just light rain now. and for parts of south jersey and new castle county which were already saturated from previous rain, now have dried out. so a good sign for those areas. at the shore, still half an inch or more falling per hour at the tip of cape may county. lewis beach now more of a light steady rain that is falling. if we track along the shore line here from atlantic city to ship bottom, also some fairly heavy rain falling. but you go out to right near that line of camden and gloucester county and the rain has pretty much stopped falling in those areas. so a good sign. still though flooding has already been reported in these areas. look at these estimated rain totals so far. this is just estimated based off radar, but it looks very accurate to me. about 5 inches in atlantic county, 2 areas northern cape may county. but closer to 2 1/2 in the southern tip may county. this is neighborhood weather. pull it out a little wider, look at philadelphia. half an inch. that is very close to the exact report at

it happened on lawrence street in north philadelphia. nbc 10 matt delucia lines us live from police headquarters. matt, it's been an emotional scene. >> reporter: that's rights: family members were emotional arriving at the scene earlier this morning. some of them even trying to cross the police tape to get to the victims who were still in the pickup truck. this happened just after midnight on 3500 block of north lauren street in philadelphia. officers found two gunshot victims both women in the front of that pickup truck. the victims are 28 and 19 years old. the truck was running and parked along a curb at the time. police tell us that both of the women were shot several times in the head, neck, and torso. they were pronounced dead at the scene. witnesses say that the shooter or shooters were in a vehicle at the time. police think this very well could be a drive by shooting. as of now, police don't know what the motive if or if both of these women were the intended targets. homicide detectives have been talking with some of the answer w
