the winds are occurring, we have right now north winds on the richmond bridge, gusting to 34, out ofction, so if you're in a high profile vehicle, you're getting hit with the winds, and of course that can be a problem. i wouldn't be surprised if the chp doesn't issue some kind of a high wind advisory throughout the evening hours. winds nothing like we had a couple of nights ago, they're up at advisory levels, high elevations. you wouldn't notice it at san jose, nothing like we've seen. when the air blows like that and sinks, the temperatures warm, air rises, cools, gets more compressed and heats up. temperatures today, record highs, temperatures well above the average. the forecast as we head to the weekend, more of the same. sunday, cold, tomorrow morning, chilly, not that bad. 40s, 50s, up get into sunday morning with the winds dying down, i think sunday morning will see temperatures near freezing. so the wind advisory stays in effect in the hills. gusts up in the oakland hills of 40-45 miles per hour. so that looks like it will verify. the high pressure ridge keeping the rain away
