if you take a look to the left, there is a neighborhood here in north richmond. that neighborhood does still have power, despite the fact that this utility pole is out. they say the transmission lines are running to the north. this neighborhood that you are looking at still has power. he could see that gertrude road shut down at this point. they certainly don't want anyone driving to the area. although, that neighborhood to have power. they tell me that about a dozen or so customers down this road do not have power at this time. that is a common theme throughout the bay area as these usually pulls comes down. as you can see in this situation, the poll coming down at home. not clear if the wind actually brought that pull down or if a truck or another vehicle hit that pole. that's one of the possibilities that the crews told me about. again, crews are on scene ready to repair this one. we are hearing that the preparer could in the next five to 10 minutes. we will monitor the situation throughout the bay area as the storm rolls through. one final. we can tell you tha

the areas in light blue still in the 40s off to our west and north. richmond now at 59. going forward over the next 36 hours these areas in green are zones of potential showers. this is as of 3:00 p.m. looks like that will begin to move into the mountains and pass north of us. then the greater chance of rain around the metro area is not going to be perhaps until 9:00 this evening until around midnight. after that a lot of that rain moves off to the north and east as of 7:00 tuesday morning. still mostly cloudy, maybe some fog around. might have a lingering quick sprinkle tomorrow morning but then after that we'll dry out during the rest of the day tomorrow and we'll get a blustery wind, too. that's going to settle down on wednesday. for the rest of the afternoon, a lot of clouds around but probably no rain. we'll just have it in the low to mid 50s for highs by mid afternoon and we'll have a light southeasterly breeze. then this evening is when we'll likely get some showers coming through. sunset is at 4:48. some rain likely moving in looks like mid to late evening and pe

richmond. that is really cold for the city. 20s to the north. santa rosa 29. napa 29. fairfield 27. san rafael is 31. i did see 30 at kentfield. a lot of 20s in the santa cruz mountains. upper 20s along skyline and over toward livermore. i've seen two reports of 24-29. freeze warning to the north bay goes until 8:00 this morning. cold, frosty, so frost advisories for the other parts of the bay area. three degrees in tahoe. tahoe that is. i almost said truckee. 28 in ukiah. there is cold numbers to the north. we'll have a sunny day. few high clouds will drift in. this will be the change in the weather tomorrow. it will give us cloudy skies and set up for rain coming in friday. and taking us into monday morning. cold this morning. it will be a sunny day but then that low kicks in. if you have travel plans and going north, it could be a little dicey by friday, saturday, and sunday. the early you go the better. stay updated with all the latest. could be a little lower up toward redding. a lot of cold air is trapped. 3-7 inches of rain is possible between the north bay and monday morning
