texas. we still have the storms ongoing. over the evening hours and through out the overnight hours we saw the strong storms produce three recorded tornadoes across north central texas one east of wichita falls and one granbury, texas which is reported to be a mile wide. there are reports homes are leveled and that would mean that would a stronger tornado classified as an es 3, ef 4 possibly an ef-5 tornado. we will survey the damage and determine how strong that tornado possibly was. if it were an ef 5 that would mean possibly winds over 200 miles an hour. it is all preliminary. crews need to take a look at the damage. we have reports of very large sized hail. there are reports for multiple counties that some of these hail were baseball sized, grapefruit size that would cause significant damage to these areas. we have 14 reports of damaging winds gusts one of them being at 80 miles an hour. that of course causes damage bringing down tree branchs and also power lines. that is something we will continue to also monitor. we could potentially see the number of tornadoes rise once survey crews continue to rise. wind damage h. the tornado was said to have b

we had it all way up to the great lakes from north texas through minnesota under the gun.his morning we are watching the upper low over the northern plains. below it we get to the south and still strong storms firing in southeast kansas coming into missouri. as we go through the day, you can throw the heat of the day in. seeing dying storms in south georgia but a lot of low level moisture here over the carolinas streaming in toward southern virginia. more showers and storms these are lifting in our direction. you throw in the daytime heating. here we are at midday. we get into the afternoon, a better chance out of the mountains and we are still going to watch the threat for some heavier downpours. patchy fog redevelops with showers possible again tomorrow afternoon. but tomorrow afternoon also again on wednesday, looks to be even warmer. today 82, ask therred showers and storms. generally more isolated tomorrow and wednesday afternoon. temperatures in the upper 80s perhaps. thursday more showers and clouds. the weekend looks cool and drier. nats are back in town with the p
