it marks a year since the start of the devastating northbay wildfires.s in the coffey park neighborhood will hold a remembrance gathering tonight at 7 pm. it is hosted by the community group coffee strong and organizers say that they will express gratitude to first responders and give thanks for the generosity of those near and far that helped the neighborhood in the long and ongoing recovery process many of the people that lost their neighborhoods and the fires came together in santa rosa yesterday. they held a bellringing ceremony, reciting the names of the 44 people that were killed in the fires that burned for weeks across several counties. people also used chalk to draw or write whatever they were feeling on the sidewalk this is a time to reunite with friends that have been burned out of the area and have not been able to return. >> it is a happy and so glad to see you. how are you doing? finding out what phase they are in. trauma counselors were on hand and they said that the grieving process is different for anybody that goes through a major traum
