it showed unhealthy for groups air quality around the east bay and parts of the northbay. you can see that haze on the horizon. strong wind tomorrow should help to disperse that haze a bit and improve air quality back into the moderate category. temperatures today topped out in the low to mid 60s. a pretty sunset as we look at from the top of mt. diablo and cv haze on the horizon even with skies continuing to darken. tomorrow's temperatures won't be quite as warm. more of a mix of the 50s and low 60s. right now everyone is in the 50s. 52 degrees in petaluma 259 degrees right now through santa rosa and san jose. temperatures are above average for this time of year. tonight, slightly above normal for mid-january. low to mid 40s across the board by early tomorrow morning. clouds way up in the atmosphere and overhead are not thick enough to hold a lot of warmth near the ground, they are not substantial enough to squeeze out any moisture but they are good enough to keep temperatures from dipping into the upper 30s. cloud cover will gradually dissipate through the day tomorrow.

it will likely be the northbay valleys again. so napa and santa rosa plan on fog. sunday will be just as pretty as today with blue skies mostly. there are still some storms in the pacific but they are just not getting directed here as much as they was in the month of december. there is the next one and you can see the pattern like the freeway of storms want to take it too far north. this is monday morning and if we going to get anything from the system it would have been there. the rain showed up and monday the clouds will increase but that is only in the morning. by the afternoon it is sunny and we will not get any rain out of that scenario. by the time we get to thursday you will see the clouds increase. there is really no reasonable chance of rain. instead we are kind of locked on autopilot where we will keep doing this now as we go through mid-january. daytime high temperatures in the mid-50s and clouds are few for the next seven days and no chance for rain. we will take a look at the long- range forecast, days 8-14, and see what the likelihood is for above or
