taking a look all the way into the northbay. it's a lot more light and widespread with green indicating light scattered showers. really light drizzle. heavier pockets of rain in yellow impacting many local areas. for simba, san rafael all the way along mill valley down to 101 into san francisco . heaviest rain isolating itself along the 101. be careful along the roads . i know a lot of people are heading out the door within the next 15 to 20 minutes. take it slow in fremont with slick roads as we wake up this morning. this is not flooding by any means. we are not dealing with heavy showers. this is light drizzle but the road to stay slick in these conditions. over the next 24 hours, hit or miss storms. especially in the northbay. this is for santa rosa. drier conditions from 9:00 to 1:00 . san francisco is more widespread. that is why we are keeping the models staying consistent with this green into the evening hours. we can time that out on futurecast. here's what we are looking at at that 6:30 hour all the way to 10:00. light,

dry conditions in the northbay. it is a gloomy day, a little moist out there. some of the heavier micro cells are currently sweeping off into the east inland hills. this area of low pressure reducing more rain off into san mateo, north, closer to burlingame where we are seeing those heavy showers sweep off into the water into the bay. this system has been parked over us for quite some time, yesterday, today. the morning commute could potentially impact tomorrow but at that point, the showers get lighter and lighter as we wrap up this week. the system will track to the south and as it does that, we are left with the wind from the south. about 15 to 20 miles per hour wind gusts at times into the evening hours tonight and then it will die down slowly. it works in a counterclockwise direction. we are seeing the wind sweep and from the south and that is the reason why the showers are moving in too. overnight hours, we will see a speckle of showers here or there producing a 10th of an inch , less impressive numbers up to the northbay as this starts to die down headin
