northeast. this is not southeast. it will be humid. atlantic city at 103. baltimore at 1104. 95 in cincinnati. 91 in cleveland. we have a bit of good news. the good news we have is that we do expect a few changes to take place in the forecast. the changes will come in terms of high pressure moving a little bit more to the southeast. you weill see the reason for th heat. the heat dome or the high pressure which is causing problems for the atmosphere. in terms of a front to transform the atmosphere in that area, it will not happen unless the high pressure system moves. we are forecasting that over the next several hours and the next day or so. we expect that hot mass of air to drift to the south. when that occurs, that will allow the frontal boundary to drift a bit to the southeast. sunday looks like it is cooler for boston and washington. i have to tell you, t.j., with all of the heat as you imagine, many people are trying to deal with the massive heat in the northeast. they are doing so in creative ways. >> here we go. you have to like that. a fire hydrant cools people down. it has been so hot in columbus, ohi

bam of baltimore police are looking for a man who was shot and killed in northeast on stonewood road. the victim has not been identified. investigators believe he was fighting with the other men when shots were fired. anyone with information is asked to call the city's homicide unit. city police are investigating another shooting. a man was walking on aisquith street on saturday morning. someone shot him in the head. the victim was taken to the hospital where, at last check, he was in stable condition. the suspect fled on foot. there is no word on a possible motive. >> maryland police are trying to figure out what led to a deadly motor scooter accident in carroll county. the driver was traveling westbound their shepherds mill road he just after midnight on saturday -- near shepherdstown road is midnight -- sheperd's mill road. one person is dead after a fire in anne arundel county. the fire broke out on shore drive in edgewater. another person was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. >> the propane tanks are something that is standard in the area here. many homes have
