this is northeast baltimore. at tavoly and chilton. this is about a block south of 33rd street. upon our arrival, we found two vehicles involved in a heavy collision. one of them on fire. it appears the vehicle that was on fire is the vehicle that -- and the suspects inside police were seeking at the time. it appears that sometime during the course of the time the police were seeking those subjects, they collided with this other vehicle, causing all of this mayhem in the neighborhood. police do have two persons of interest in custody. it is not clear at this point what police will charge those people with. the occupant of the other vehicle, a woman, was taken down in front of a home on chilton street, which is just south of tavoli. where she is being assisted by baltimore city paramedics and other assistants. it was mayhem out here for a short period of time. at least 30 or 40 police cars. again, not clear what these suspects were wanted for. but two are in custody. and police have put on the the fire. it appears the injuries to the other person are nonlife- threatening. >> than

we are watching this steady area of rain that has been moving from southwest to northeast through the metro baltimorea and beyond. we will have some areas of fog and drizzle and missed in the air, but overnight things will change. the cold front will be the reason. almost an inch and a half in mount airy where it is 53 right now. 0.7 inch in sterling and a little over half inch in bowie. the high and low at reagan national, there are the averages. four years ago today we had sunshine and 77 degrees. 50's in the metro area, 30's to the north and if you go farther south, you find temperatures still in the seven's. -- still in the 70's. in the 20's across portions of new england. there is a wide area of rain from chicago and beyond. colder air and new england, we are talking snow there. maybe 4-8 inches of snow in some areas of vermont and new hampshire. heavy downpours, maybe some thunderstorms. about four o'clock in the morning, a line of heavy rain with possible under moving through. temperatures will climb over night and then it will be a slow process during the day with maybe an additional -- addit

baltimore. gusty winds, through aberdeen, headed into the northeast, looks like wind gusts with this ring behind this, a steady batch of rain for the next few hours, lifting east with moisture coming from the south. so, it is going to be with us for just a little bit longer. look at where the temperatures are. it started as a mild day. 50's, 60's to start. the temperatures are dropping down now. you can almost draw the line of the front, 65 in edgewood, but 50's in marshall. even colder air, 40's, is coming in behind our latest cold front. there is a batch of rain that we have that is heaviest over washington, d.c., moving towards the northeast, all of it associated with a tricky storm system that we have had our eye on for the last couple of days. not only has it been a slow mover, it has begun to wrap within itself across the southeast. it has brought in very cold air. for that reason, it brought unbelievably cold temperatures to the southeast. snow reported as far south as alabama and northern portions of georgia. very unusual for this time of year. fortunately, it is just a rain event. you c
