reporting from northeast washington, sam ford, abc 7 news. nancy: we all know that frying a turkey can be dangerous. that is one reason why the co-owner of this restaurant in southeast washington started off selling free turkey brine -- started off giving away free turkey brine. they look delicious. michelle: no deep fryers needed for this. the celebration is at the hyatt regency in bethesda. they put on a vegan buffet to promote a meat-free lifestyle. it sounds like a daunting task to come up with tasty recipes on a day like this without meat, but proves that it is possible. nancy: today is all about the food, somehow or another. and the turkeys approved of that. it was a really nice day, a little cool, 47. the record for the coldest day as the high. we were nowhere near that. heading out, it is cool. we are sitting at 42 degrees in d.c., 36 leesburg, winchester at freezing. we have feels-like temperatures in the mid-30's. if you are heading out tonight, many of you are shopping, out and about, definitely layer up 40, dropping to 39 by 9:00.

in northeast washington, suzanne kennedy, abc 7. adrianna: one man is dead after a mobile home in charles county burst into flames. ryan hughes has more on the investigatn drawing a major response from firefighters and the charles county sharps department. that fire happening down this longer road, about 150 to 175 yards off the street. we are told this is a large farm with several different animals and homes in the front of the property, and mobile homes in the back of the property. that is where the fire started. gottrack 7 over the scene the call around 5:30 this morning. this is in the 1700 block of marshall hall road. the crews arrived. the mobile home was fully involved and completely engulfed by flames. firefighters made an aggressive attack, and they were soon able to get in through the front door. that is when they pulled a man out of the home. unfortunately, he did not survive and was pronounced dead on scene. we are told a dog was also killed in this fire. fire, ase home caught no other injuries are reported out here. rig
