that heavy but just north of reisterstown it's coming down at a pretty good clip, 50 now, north/northeasterly winds, gusts to 18 miles per hour making for a very cool day. we'll take to you manchester now, this is northeastern carroll county, 45 degrees, they've really pulled back on the thermostat. only picking up 5/100th inch of rain, doesn't seem that heavy but starting to pick up. this is manchester, maryland's most powerful doppler radar, and we've got this slipping through the west side of westminster, riding across the hereford zone and does pick up north of parkton to new freedom and shrewsbury, overall we're watching this heavy rain on the north side, light rain around the beltway, just enough to make it wet but just enough also to take a lot of that pollen and dust out of the air that has been building. look what is building to the northwest. steady band of rainfall extending in through western sections of pennsylvania. this looks like it's going to be a day event at that could take us on into the evening hours but there's more reinforce metropolitans behind us. there's a chance of
