also this is providing warmer air from the south out ahead of this storm system, which is a northeastern china still bringing some rough weather out there and actually same upper level feature supporting this. different low level and that has been really bringing some strong thunderstorms out across this area on sunday. we had large hail reported there and on monday significant airport delays in beijing. numerous flights being delayed due to these thunderstorms blowing through. that storm still going to move across the korean peninsula bringing showers as we head through tuesday but further down towards the south. the rainy season front dominating in southeastern china towards taiwan. in fact, taiwan, look at this, 431 millimeters reported since sunday out here in northern areas of the island and higher elevations but quite incredible. more rain on the forecast so that's the big thing out here. actually some areas could see record-breaking totals out there in parts of southern china and really, the ground of usually is saturated. you've been seeing showers for some time now. more rain could ma

now, the warm air over korea and japan also is producing some thunderstorms for northeastern china, something to keep in mind is that warm, moisture coming in from the south and that's feeling up the storms even around the bay individual area, thunderstorms and parts of har bin and going ahead into the saturday and something to watch out for. showers towards the south and bangkok and the rainy season out here dominating much of myanmar and towards thailand, over towards bangladesh and now as well in to southern india. in fact, let's show you some video we have coming out of southern india out here where, well, you're getting the heavy rainfall. now, the southern part of the country typically gets the onset of the monsoon before off there towards the north. any monsoon rains hit the state earlier and overall generates about 70% of india's annual rainfall. so you can see some flooding right there. but the good news is farmers really happy about this. actually, the indian meteorological agency expecting above precipitation this month. we had drought out here and definitely going to be some great

separately even another low pulling through northeastern china bringing thunderstorms up there. of them could become rather strong, maybe hail coming out of that and this new low actually developing in eastern china will eventually pull towards the east bringing the second round of precipitation wednesday into thursday across parts. i want to take your attention to the tropics. i know here in 2016 we have been seeing an exceptionally slow tropical season but some of our computer models picking up on the possibility of a storm developing over in the next several days at the very least we're looking at wide spread precipitation across the sea there into the western locations of the philippines and eventually possibly out there towards the north into southern china. watch out for the next several days but you have been suffering from drought lately out here, this is some fantastic news as far as a much-needed precipitation. the middle of i-35 thunderstorms and hong kong partly cloudy and taipei 30 and tokyo showers throughout the day on tuesday especially into the afternoon hours.
