the cat 5 was prolonged for 36 hours across the northern bahamas here and potentially some spots could see up to 40 feet. so we're not opportunity with it. unfortunately, as you can see, it still says stationary in that area. for the next few days, by wednesday, thursday, the winds are going to still calm down. now, we're going on watch gradually. all this takes is a nudge of about 15 to 20 miles. this is wilmington. this is the outer banks. if this movement shifts a little bit to the west, we could have still a potential landfall for that area. so watch that very closely. if it escapes that, it will be really great. it will go out to land and we'll see a cat 1 by friday. we have potential across jersey. even new york. you're going to see the leftovers of that storm system. we have our correspondents that are out and about across south florida. west palm beach. this is a concern here. this is 5:00 a.m. this morning. 51-mile-per-hour wind flow here. so we're going to see the winds start to really pick up along with a high tide, chris, that comes in at 5:13. so with the storm surge of 2
