northern california not just snow but a tornado. >> a tornado in northern california yesterday.t's been a wild spring with the tornadoes. we'd like to put them in the path. the one yesterday was incredible over the massachusetts river. it's not as rare as you think for massachusetts to see tornadoes. they get a strong one like we saw yesterday every 10 to 15 years. in the 1950s they had one through wooster match match that killed about 50 people. not rare. also tornadoes in kansas where you expect them and one or two in areas of north central california. today we're not really going to be looking at tornado threat or that much in the way of severe weather. we're going to finally watch that storm system heading to the north. it's still going to remain cool in areas of the west. still watching the jet stream with the big old dip down the west coast. there's the wet weather to the north. this setup is now going to take the next storm coming down from alaska in the gulf there, slam to the south and stall off the coast. our forecast isn't going to improve any time soon. some showers

that is combining and moving over northern california.again, it looks like it's tuesday and possibly we could hear the rumble of thunder as well. so as we step through time, our computer models are showing very consistently that increase in moisture, thicker clouds by tuesday morning. in fact, by the morning drive on tuesday, we could be looking at showers around marin county, up through sonoma as well. and then the showers spread further south. the question at this point is, how far south do they get? at least a chance i think for rain as far south as san jose, maybe even gilroy. so we'll track this thing over the next 24 to 48 hours. temperatures tonight, very mild, seasonal really with low to mid-50s for the most part, a little cooler around santa rosa. tomorrow we'll wake up to some low clouds, nothing new there. very summer like temperatures. sant teresa, 84 tomorrow, mountainview near 80, 84 in san jose, 79 in fremont. i do think right around the bay tomorrow it will be a touch warmer than what you saw today. 70 in richmond, 65 half

northern california deserve this. san francisco deserved this. the organization, the fans. it is the most interesting life experience that anyone could ever have. i can only think of another word, and it is closure. this team, for our was, friends, family, they understand what we go through, they understand why we go through this. we are so blessed to have experienced but we have with this group of people. there is a reason they won the world series. they won it because they were respectful, because they showed great humility throughout the whole ride. they were like a junkyard dogs on a bone. they would not let go. to use a texas term, we pulled on the same rope. it took a village mentality to raise this team, whether it was the front office, scattered department, player development, training staff, clubhouse people, but somehow, someway, we had a mind set that there was no difference between the bad boy and the owner, and we took that through the season. we are so proud. we' are so happy to have brought this home to you. now i want to introduce the next manager of the yea

as we go through the day tomorrow, until this low scoots through the bay area and northern california, you are just going to have to leave showers in the forecast. i don't think we're going to see as much rain as we saw today. thank goodness. two to three inches of rain in the coastal hills. from now probably through monday afternoon looking at a mixed bag of sunshine and a few showers but possibly some thunder with the cooler air aloft associated with that low moving over northern california for tomorrow afternoon. and then for monday, most of the moisture should finally kick to the east and taking with it the chances of showers. finally shutting down by the time we get to monday afternoon. so your sunday will be waking up to maybe a few areas of drizzle or hilltop showers for the morning. best bet for showers tomorrow will be in the hilltops with the maximum heating from 3:00 to 5:00. monday morning's commute may have a few light rain showers. by the afternoon, things will finally start to dry out as high pressure comes back for the middle part of the week. rainfall projections for
