the jet stream is riding over northern california. it's going to provide enough uplift that as the developing storm arrives on saturday, it's not only going to drop our temperatures anywhere from 10 to 15 degrees but it will also bring the possibility of widespread rain and also isolated thunderstorms. so here's what you can expect. rain, anywhere from a quarter inch to one inch with the heaviest pockets up into the north bay. as we head to the south, morgan hill, gilroy, san jose, on the lesser end of things with a quarter of an inch. wind could top 20 to 40 miles per hour. if you're headed anywhere near the sierra, you definitely need to be cautious because another one to two feet is expected on saturday morning. take it slow. more coming up in the full forecast in just a few minutes. >> jeff, thank you very much. >>> michelle obama is in the bay area raising money for the presidential campaign. she's meeting with supporters in san francisco right now. jean is live where some supporters hope to deliver political advice. >> reporter:
