northern colorado crime stoppers is offering a 1- thousand dollar reward for information that helps solve the crimes. you don't have to give your name. lawmakers want to keep a closer eye on future v-a construction. the u-s house just passed a bill to tighten control over the biggest projects - like the v-a hospital in aurora. 9news reporter noel brennan is live from the construction site. noel, the bill aims to prevent what we've seen happen with this project. right, gary. following this story for years now. construction costs have soared the hospital is expected to cost 1.7 billion dollars that's three times its original estimate. yesterday, the house passed a bill to increase oversight and management over these types of projects. the bill would affect so-called super costing more than $100 million. the bill says the v-a would have to let the u-s army corps of engineers or another federal agency manage those projects. the v-a would have to report back to congress to keep lawmakers up to date on how things are going. the bill also says congress must be notified 60 days before any money i
