next several hours, cuba will really weaken irma just a little bit and a little bit goes a long way with a storm like this, but again working right along those barrier islands, northernctions of cuba and it will continue this track now for quite awhile. it looks like it's still a ways away from actually making that turn up to the north. now, look, the leading rain bands of irma are beginning now to move over florida. here's miami. here's fort lauderdale so you have one little band coming through and these bands do have the capability of bringing down very, very heavy rain. also wind, too. and some of this wind with these initial bands may be gusting up over 45 miles per hour. so, this is when they begin to get at least some tropical storm force gusts down along the keys, all the way down towards key west. again, they're beginning now to feel the effects for the first time of hurricane irma down there. all right, the winds are at 155. the movement is west-northwest at 12 miles per hour. here's the important thing i think for us as we continue to see this pressure coming up a little bit. that's a good thing because as pressures are coming up, the storm itself is weaken
