actually, across wales, northern england, parts of scotland, too, it's been very dry.s whole month. now, on saturday, we had a lot of cloud around, but there were some places that managed to see some sunshine breaking through — for example, in lincolnshire — and then, towards the end of the day, we had this storm system work up from northern france. the thundery downpours working across much of england and wales, but the heaviest, again, across east anglia and south east england. but as we head into sunday morning, those storms will be clearing out into the north sea, so the rain eventually easing off. again, there'll be a lot of cloud around with some breaks, particularly for southwest scotland, northwest england, northwest wales and northern ireland, and just a few showers pushing into scotland and northern ireland for a time. temperatures similar for most of us. a bit cooler around our north sea coasts because we'll start to develop a northeasterly wind, those winds coming in off the cool sea. heading into monday's forecast, low pressure stays to the south of the uk
