moisture developing along the south in the gulf of mexico and it could bring severe weather to northern florida and georgia and this is what will become the nor'easter on saturday. now, the setup one major ingredient we are lacking is a very broad area of arctic high pressure that will bring us a deep supply of cold air and really slow down the storm system, we don't have that, this will be a fairly fast moving system, as it deepens and strengthens it pulls up air from the ocean the ocean air is 38 degrees and that is relatively mild air and that will create a change over to most of our viewing area. future tracker showing the snow will be falling in philadelphia when most of us are sleeping at 2:00 it's snowing however look at what happens when we look at saturday morning, the change over not only the i-95 corridor and the immediate suburbs you have to go to northern berks and the lehigh valley and the poconos to get the pure snow and it all starts to move out by saturday afternoon, what are we talking about as far as amounts, south jersey and delaware a coating to an inch falling before day b

the pattern right now has the cold extending all the way into texas and northern florida. you have to go into southern florida before we see temperatures even anywhere close to normal. take a look at midnight tonight. we are going to see those feels-like temperatures when you factor in the wind for most areas down in the single digits and teens. it will feel like 31 degrees in dallas but 6 in amarillo. it will feel like 12 below in parts of wyoming. so it is going to be a cold one tonight and also a snowy one across the southern rockies with the snow already falling. we could see one to two feet of snow in the highest elevations. and the lake effect snow machine is on in watertown and aswego, up to three feet of snow. and, kate, as we kick off 2015, just to note for that rose parade tomorrow, windchills in pasadena, california will be down in the 20s. it's cold pretty much everywhere. >> yeah. pretty much everywhere. dylan, thank you. >>> by now you probably know that gas prices have taken a serious dive in 2014. what you may not know is that americans saved about $14 bill

they go all the way from northern minnesota all the way down to northern florida.ne pretty much east of the rockies is going to get the big chill. it's today and tomorrow with improvement as we go towards the weekend. so 118 million people under warning or advisory. and here's the current windchills. the lowest i could find. little small town off lake superior negative 49 is the windchill. i mean that's like five minutes outside and you've got frostbite if you have any exposed skin. minus 12 in fargo. negative 6 in kansas city. negative temperatures in ohio. that's the next shot. it's heading east. not going to head so far to the deep south. you're chilly and cold. but as we go toward tomorrow morning, areas like atlanta will be cold. charlotte, we could see negative windchills in the carolinas tomorrow morning. this hasn't happened yet this winter. for the south the lit'll be shocking for you. also, careful driving out there in kentucky. we've got a coating of snow. and there is lake effect snow that's heavy off of erie and ontario. here's the temperatures, and th
