pretty decent snow from wisconsin, back into northern illinois, around chicago. it lightens up a bit as you get to the southern extent of this storm system. all indications are that as it gets here, it's going to have a hard time crossing over the mountains and bringing us any bit of significant snow. now, typically, a clipper is sneaky and sometimes tough to forecast. so looks like tomorrow evening will obviously when gwen's in tomorrow night with the forecast, she'll have any new information. but none of the guidance tonight would suggest that really anything was going to change from this. most of the snow this weekend is going to be back out to the west. the clipper will kind of lose its steam as it gets closer to us. so i'm just going to say there could be a coating in places to about half an inch. looks like down to the south, you're mainly going to stay dry. listen, this is by no means a guarantee. i think a lot of us around here will just see some flakes. we won't necessarily be accumulating any flakes. again, join gwen tomorrow night. if anything changes,
