we're talking about massive flooding that's going on in northern indiana.ecord amount of rainfall. the roads are swamped. there's been high-water rescues. as you go further to the rest, we have dangerous lightning and hail. we had some reports of funnel clouds and tornadoes. this is a real mess. it's going to continue to get worse. here's what we're looking at. basically, a line of showers and thunderstorms with a mixed bag of precipitation behind it, stretching from texas all the way to western new york. what's going to happen, we have colder air out to the west but also this flooding possibility. 42 million people at moderate risks from texas to tennessee. rainfall from 7 to 10 inches locally through friday. and we have the warm air and cold air meeting, this ice is stretching from indiana back down into texas. and also, into western new york. as we watch this, we're looking at temperatures that are mild in the east but temperatures 25 to 30 degrees below average where the jet stream dips down. albany, boston, new york, down to washington, d.c., continues
