here's a look at the flooding just weeks ago in forest city --that's in northern iowa. robert hansen has 125 acres of beans near fairbank 60 acres were destoryed by the flooding --and he says 37 acres of his corn had water up to the ears of the corn. "i farmed for about 50 years and it's the first time i know we expect this. the wapsi river just a week before the harvest is just unimaginable." hansen does have crop insurance --but he says he still will be taking a loss this season....
