this morning though, parts of northern maine actually waking up to some snow showers in our area it's all about the rain showers and it really is confined south and east of boston now where we're seeing steady light rain showers. and that's what you can expect at least through the morning hours and even through lunchtime. in fact, north and west of worcester, you may even see some breaks of sunshine out of the cloud deck although i am cautiously optimistic about that. but through the afternoon, after 2:00, say, and through about 6:00, more steady rain is going to move in. notice there's a sharp cut-off with the precipitation. if you get north and west of worcester, you may not see any rain at all this evening. but south and east, we're talking about some heavy, steadier rain especially for you folks on the cape and the islands. as we head towards, say, midnight or so, if we pull down place and we rain at a heavy enough clip, we could see that turn over to a few wet snow flakes although i don't necessarily think that is going to happen. it's mainly going to be a steady, heavier rain bu
