through the next 24 hours and we'll end up seeing a chance of showers, especially to areas of northern maryland and across the highlands. that's the area that needs watching. this ridge of high pressure sliding out. we'll be left with partly cloudy skies and most of tomorrow not bad. we are talking mainly some sunshine with just a few clouds. the showers possible into the evening hours, now i can't guarantee that areas into metro d.c. and baltimore won't see some of the showers, but right now it looks like most of them will stay mainly to the north. we'll have to keep our eyes to the skies for you. in the meantime, a mixture of sun and clouds by midday at 63 degrees. and as we head through into tonight, we are talking our overnight low at 45 degrees. a lot cooler. areas to the west and north, mainly only into the 30s. but we will see the winds pick up 5 to 10. as that ridge moves out, we get that nice southerly flow and we are heading to near 70 degrees for tomorrow. partly sunny and breezy for the first part of the day and the winds will start to diminish. it will be great for those kite flier
