northern mountains now. wear seeing near peak in many locations and even down here in much of massachusetts. get out there and enjoy that certainly this weekend. it's 48 degrees in boston right now. westerly wind is rather light. it's rather cloudy over the city right now. we're looking at temperatures, which will be going up gradually from the upper 40s we have now to the lower 50s for highs early this afternoon. there will be a changeable sky. there will be clouds out there and clear out with more patches of clouds that may cross. i think that's a correct reading in nantucket. 56 degrees. you can see the air flow and jet stream bringing the cold canada. we are in for a couple of cool nights ahead before the wind shifts to a southwesterly direction and things change. so we've got this first disturbance coming through with quite a few clouds coming through now. producing thunderstorms near and just off the maine coast and over parts of cape cod. hyannis. hyannis with rain going on between nantucket. that's where the thunderstorms are going on. not frequent lightning but at least there is som
