weather, i know people were out in the parks doing it this weekend, we have peak leaves in northern new england was 87 yesterday in boston. really incredible temperatures, record highs in many places. it's a warm morning, we're at 66 in boston, 64 in new york. suburbs are a little cooler under clear skies. a lot of sunshine out there. late in the day. some high clouds will move in. for the most part it's going to be just like yesterday. temperatures just as warm, 85 in philly today, now a little bit cooler around buffalo and pittsburgh, for this time of year, it's still exceptionally warm. we could see highs in the 50s and 60s, we're about deny to 20 degrees above average and even into tuesday, not quite as warm. still, mid to upper 70s and actually the humidity will increase along with it as we go into wednesday. so really enjoy this. it's not going to last that long. you know it won't. wednesday and thursday in new york city, the rain arrives. that's the same forecast for d.c., baltimore, all the way up in the big cities. the great lakes looks pretty decent. 67, chicago. atlanta you'll see da

parts of northern new england. but right now, new york city is for the most part on the dry side.his is a larger system and there's more rain moving into virginia so the areas that got hit hard last night will see another influx of rain, lesser in the way of severe thunderstorms but nonetheless it's going to be a rough day. if you are traveling today, i'm one of them. new york metros will see some delays maybe up over an hour because of wind and rain. even when it's not raining or there are thunderstorms there will be winds. they will be gustyiest in chicago. warm and toasty with daytime highs. 91 los angeles, 88 in dallas. 70 in new york or 65 or so in toronto. speaking of toronto, a 100-year-old marathon runner is scheduled to, well, run the marathon up there. how about that? there he is. his name is fadra singh. he has an interesting nickname. if he finishes the marathon, he'll be the oldest man to do so and he did it about eight years ago. the guy loves to run. still kicking. >> i think his nickname is the turbin torpedo. you can see why. probably not as fast as a tore peat do

it starts loading up into northern new england. the picture yesterday, of what some people were saying, seven inches of snow in western massachusetts. this was a really big deal. a lot of people getting that first hit of snow. and now, what happens to the rest of the snow? the idea here is as this system loads in, it has plenty of cold air. it has plenty of moisture. it is a classic new england nor'easter. sorry. my lips are a little frozen. as you see the zones in pink here, we're looking at six to ten inches of snow expected. remember, this is going to be a very wet system. it will go from rain to snow to rain to snow. it's getting loaded with atlantic moisture, some tropical moisture. and it will make snow in colder locations. coastal areas, like new york city, even philadelphia, i would put in the smaller snowfall totals. new york city into boston. it will start with what will be cold rain. then, overnight, it will go to a little bit of snow, as well. you'll have a dusting and accumulation. we'll get serious with the totals and
