all this allegedly happening in northern virginia. with one investigator describing the girls as indentured sex slaves. they have charged five men with running this operation. all five linked to a fairfax county gang. investigators say the suspects would approach the girls on the metro, on the street or even try to recruit them through facebook. >> do you want to make some money? and through flattery and coercion and threats of violence, they would lure the young women into acts of prostitution. >> and investigators say the ring leader would prostitute the girls in motels, even going door to door soliciting customers in apartment buildings. >>> the former superintendent of the big branch mine in western virginia pleaded guilty. gary may who you see in the background of that photo was charged with hiding safety violations after the april 2010 explosion at the mine. it killed 29 men. may will be sentenced on april 9th. he faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. >>> tonight firefighters from colorado say they are making som

thank you. >>> a traffic alert for drivers in northern virginia. new ramp will help ease traffic on i-66 and the beltway. first you will have to deal with more delays there. beginning tonight at 9:30, three right lanes on the outer loop of the beltway at i-66 will close. the old exit ramp from i-66 west to the outer loop will also close. it's to allow crews to open a new ramp from 66 west to the beltway. that new ramp should be open by 7:00 tomorrow morning. >>> the new beltway express lanes in virginia should be open by the end of the year. here's a look at what the new four high-occupancy toll lanes will look like. it includes two lanes in each direction. v-dot crews rebuilt bridges and overpasses. officials say those who use the lanes could cut their commute times in half between springfield and tyson's. it will cost drivers, and not everyone is happy about the prices. >> the models we're using show an average of 3 1and a hal 1/2 >> they're not going to have a set rate for the toll. so it seems almost like a perk just for the rich. >> the h.o.t.

maryland's radar showing showers in northern virginia. leading edge of unsettled weather that arrives in maryland tomorrow. could bring us showers. 61 bwi marshall. 70 york. upper 70s from easton to the western delmarva area. closer to the ocean you can see the east breeze. 46 ocean city. winds are from the east. they are light. as these winds pick up through the day tomorrow they could hold temperatures down in the 60s much of the day. that with additional cloud cover it could be tough to get beyond 70 tomorrow. this is way above average. humidity on the high side. this helps fuel fog developing overnight lasting into tomorrow morning. we saw that last night into this morning. there is a good chance we'll see it tonight. main area of unsettled weather is out there over the mountains. that will drift through central maryland through the afternoon and evening tomorrow. could allow showers to crop up through the afternoon. we'll watch for that. overall the pattern will be another warm set up. unsettled briefly tomorrow. warm southerly flow
