thanks tojo, and another one from the northeast of england, this one from berwick—upon—tweed in northumberlandding us that. and today, i think for most parts of the country, it is going to be a bit brighter compared with yesterday. a few more sunny spells to go around, but we've got thicker cloud heading in scotland. weather fronts here will bring some fairly heavy and persistent rain and it's going to get quite windy through the afternoon. gusts picking up to about 50 odd miles an hour further southwards, as i say, although there is quite a bit of cloud still across england and wales, there will be some bigger gaps in that cloud. so a bit more sunshine to go around. and it's going to be a mild day. temperatures 11 to 13 degrees now overnight. it's going to get really windy once again for northern scotland where gusts will reach around 60 to perhaps 70 miles an hour. could be strong enough to bring some localised disruption here with a band of rain edging into scotland as well associated with those strong winds further southwards, the winds will pick up overnight, bringing some cloudier weathe
