we've got the northwest wind at 14 miles per hour. and in oakland it was a gorgeous day for baseball, 64 degrees right now. west wind at 13. and mainly clear skies. still a lot of sunshine around the bay area right now. temperatures around the bay area, you can still see some 70s out there towards concord and sunnyvale today. so we did warm up from yesterday. 68 around gilroy. 67 in livermore. and 69 degrees currently in santa rosa. now through the evening we will still see some breezy conditions out there. winds today started to turn a little more out of the north. we'll see more of that tomorrow as winds for about 24 hours turn somewhat offshore. this is going to lead to a warmup that will last just for one day come tomorrow. you can see here lots of sunshine, clear skies there. you can see up or down towards the north coast into southern california. things look quite sunny expect off to the north. that's where all the rain is

it shows rain in the pacific northwest. an active pacific but the to trajectory of all that activity moving into northern california. so we're in good shape. it stays to the north. but it shifts out over the next 36 to 48 hours just a little bit. that's awful it takes to drop temperatures down. instead of 70s and mid-70s like we might see this time of year because of the proximity of the jet stream and the moisture of the cloud cover, looks like we'll see temp temperatures in the 60s the next couple of days. still very nice much like today. the moisture is still going to move north. that's when temperatures will really start to increase. we'll see mid-70s. maybe some low 80s by the weekend. as you look at these temperatures note that we're going to be dealing with certainly increased pollen counts. we have noticed tree pollens are obviously trending medium

most of the showers are actually going to hit the northern parts of california and the pacific northwest although a slight chance of rain here in the bay area. you can see that cold front passing through here bringing us the breezy conditions along with that area of low pressure and so we're actually going to see sunshine later once that rain makes its way through. taking a look at our highs for today, 58 for daly city, 63 sunnyvale and milpitas. 64 down in los gatos and morgan hill. as we make our way over to the east bay seeing high 50s and low 60s. 59 for alameda, 62 for danville, 64 out in brentwood. and up into the north bay where we're seeing that best chance of showers looking at high 50s, low 60s. 60s for san anselmo and san rafael, cooler in mill valley at 59 and 58 for san francisco. here's your extended forecast, that chance of showers continuing through this afternoon. then we are going to see some sunshine and that sunshine will hold tight through tuesday. we'll see mostly sunny conditions and then that chance of showers actually returning to the forecast for wednesday. you
