we'll hold back on the humidity with northwest wind for saturday. but by the time we get to saturday afternoon, overnight and into sunday, we switch the winds to the southwest and that's going the lead to quite a bit of a warmup and by the time we get to sunday afternoon, in fact, very hot for sunday and monday. could see isolated showers and thunderstorms by the time we get to the fourth of july forecast. so, here's our future track forecast model. it depicts what will happen over the next couple of days. for us, we're going to stay dry for the most part. notice the time stamp this morning at 5:00 a.m., not much change midday and late day and a bit of a sun glare on the morning drive and your afternoon drive as well. then into the overnight tonight. we'll keep things clear and calm. winds mainly out of the northwest as well with the drier air moving on through. with our next three days at least the forecast is staying fairly consistent. sunny skies, clear conditions overnight. and overnight lows quite reasonable. we'll push the upper 80s for today.

at a row home on cater street in northwest. the flames spread quickly. tonight more than a dozen people have no place to call him. darcy spencer is on the scene with more on this. >> reporter: a u.s. park police helicopter crew that was returning from a mission apparently was the first to spot the smoke and flames. they called it into d.c. fire and shot this spectacular video. this video taken by u.s. park police helicopter camera shows thick, black smoke and flames engulfing four row houses in the 900 block of decatur street northwest. the flight crew apparently the first to spot the fire that also left more than a dozen people displaced on this holiday weekend. >> when we arrived on the scene, we had pretty heavy fire conditions. it was well advanced and already from the basement up through the roof essentially already spreading through the neighboring houses when we got here. >> reporter: the flames broke out around 4:45 in the afternoon. meadow meadows, who is hard of hearing, was inside his home in an upstairs computer room. someone banging loudly a

breaking news out of northwest washington.of "u" street is closed right now because of a liquor store fire. >> that broke out in the 1300 block of "u" street. melissa mollet is live with more on this. >> right now we still have the block between 13th and 14th on "u" street completely shut down because of the fire investigation. we went down there to shoot some video so you could really see the damage to the store. around 5:00 a.m. somebody noticed flames coming from inside "u" wine and beer. investigators arrived to heavy fire coming out of the front of the building. we understand from talking with investigators the fire started on top of refrigeration equipment and went upstairs into the two stores above the beer and wine store. the beer and wine looks like it's pretty much destroyed on the inside from a closer look, and those two businesses above, a hair salon and karate studio damaged as well. now, luckily, nobody injured out here in this fire. fire investigators still trying to determine exactly what caused this blaze. for
