these winds are coming across the northwest.it of a northerly component out of washington county. typically, the northwest winds are going to tap into some very cold air. not the case because everyone in our region is pretty much in the same zone. we are all above average for the most part. and high pressure is going to ease off. it's going to allow for cloud cover to start moving in ahead of our next weather maker. what we're watching, several different things here. several different dynamics. first off, there is a low- pressure system starting to move across oklahoma now. starting to lift up into indiana and across the great lakes. it's going to drag with it a cold front that is going to start to pull in some moist air out ahead of it. the warmer air stays with it. so we don't drop in temperatures, even though we have in theory a cold front moving through the region over the next few days. we also have a system out in the west right now, down around southern california that is going to be moving in by the end of the weekend. w
