it happen period in the 500 block of florida avenue northwest in may. audrey barnes is live on the scene now with the d.c. homicide branch in southwest. audrey? >> reporter: d.c. police arrested 30-year-old jonathan dawkins in southeast and charged him in the stabbing death of brain brisman of upper marlboro. he was a ct person and he was voted a superstar because of his exceptional interaction with patients. on may 1st, he was coming home from a party to celebrate his promotion. he got into an argument with a man on the street, he stopped his vehicle, and when he got out of the car, they say he was stabbed in the deck neck. now, brisbane tried to get away. he got back in the car and tried to get away. he ended up crashing his vehicle into a light pole in the 500 block of florida avenue. and after an extensive search and surveillance video and talking to a lot of witnesses, police today came to this conclusion and they have arrested 30-year-old jonathan dawkins of southeast, charged him in the death of dwayne brisbane and is facing second- degree murder
