as we go to the high temperatures around iowa today, you will find the coolest readings in the northwest where it was 68 degrees in fort dodge. a little better in the southeastern part of the state where it was 76 in it was 74 in waterloo. dubuque checking in at 72. on the satellite much of iowa continues to be clear but since late today we've had some clouds starting to work their way into tomorrow i am expecting to see clouds around the region and that you keep the temperatures several degrees cooler than what we saw today. as far as the radar nothing in iowa but there are a few light showers drifting around lake michigan. there's a chance a few of these could sneak into the area. they will be few and far between and light if they do get cure period for friday night football the temperature should be around 64 degrees in most areas there will be cloudy skies. there may be a brief shower or a sprinkle. as we take a look at the current temperatures there's a lot of 50s and are central and northern counties. further south a little warmer. 64 and iowa city. dubuque is at 61 and charles cit
