it's a beautiful morning here in northwest washington. the muggies are back. with those we've had some showers, even some isolated thunder this morning. good news here is i think over the next hour, 90 minutes a lot of this will be clearing out to our north and east. we start with a look at the day planner. our picture from tysons corner showing you the wet roads out there as well where it's raining. 77 at national. on the hour they were cloudy. 84 by noon. 85 at 5:00. we will have a chance for a couple of strong thunderstorms this afternoon but certainly we're going to get plenty of breaks as women. big picture on the ray -- as well. big picture on the radar shows the rain moving in during the last several hours. on top of us in d.c. and points north and west, we do see a break to the southwest and southern maryland has been relatively quiet. montgomery county, you're dealing with it. same southern and eastern frederick county. all of this lifting to the northeast. yeah, damascus over to germantown, rockville, you will be wet for a little while. here in d.c.
