winds north-northwesterly on the chesapeake bay, waves a foot or less. the water temperatures are anywhere from 69 degrees to 78 degrees. we should be 79 for the daytime high. so obviously into the mid 80's. 94 the record high in 1931. the record low of 42 set back in 1975. our average low is 58 degrees. so just a little bit above that tonight. but some of our outlying areas, about 59. it looks like 66 or so downtown. the stars will be twinkling throughout tonight. what we have going on surface feature wise is a high dome of nice pressure. a nice clockwise flow around that high will keep us stable, warm and dry and protect from us any problems, at least until midweek. by midweek what's going to happen is that a front will get through. and in the wake of that, there will be high pressure to our north. anytime we have that going on over new england, much like last week we're going to pull in some of that flow from the atlantic so wednesday through at least friday it looks like a chance of showers each day. it's going to be cooler, too. temperatures in the
