security camera shows the passenger train as it barrels around a curve and slams gets a wall in northwestern spain. the deadly impact shredded the 8-car train that was carrying more than 200 passengers and crew. an investigation is under way but the early focus is on speed. in a statement to police, one of the train's two drivers admitted he was going too fast when the train jumped the rails in the city of santiago de compostela. authorities believe it was traveling more than twice the 50-mile-per-hour speed limit. cbs news has learned when the rail line was updated two years ago, spanish government officials tried to save money and used the existing tracks for the high-speed train. this morning, crews used cranes to lift the demolished cars off the tracks. investigators also picked through the rubble and inspected the railway looking for clues that will explain what happened. many passengers were headed to an annual religious festival. >> came for the celebration and we were actually in the main square waiting for the festivities, fireworks, when, you know, we were told that there was an ac
